What is BellyMonk?
We’re primarily focused on the cottage industry in Nepal. We started out by supplying traditional handicrafts to retail stores but the glaring gap between the artisans and the collectors gave us the impetus to create a platform for local artisans to showcase their work all over the world and facilitate a generation of new inspiring ideas and creative designs. This led to the birth of Belly Monk and through BellyMonk we strive to be instrumental in supporting both art and artisans.
Do sales take place on BellyMonk.com or offline, at a physical location?
We do not currently have a physical location. The sales only takes place on www.bellymonk.com

What happens if I forget my sign-in information?
Don’t worry about it. It happens all the time. Select the Forgot Password and follow the instructions. You will be up and shopping again in no time. But you have to remember your user name and email address.
How are the products chosen for each sale?
We take enormous pride in the selection process of every item offered on BellyMonk. We work very closely with our vendors. Our intention is to inspire the world from our collection.
How often are sales held?
BellyMonk offers sales every weekday. Check out our Sale section to see all the sales that is going on. You can also check our Facebook or Twitter or email updates to get all these information.
Can I order by phone?
All purchases must be made through our website or our Belly Monk customer service. You can call us or email if you have any questions. We are very prompt and will get back to you in no time.
Use our Wait List
Sometimes an item you are interested in will be in another member’s cart. Our Wait List function allows you to select items you are interested in purchasing. If an item becomes available after the sale, we will send you an email. You can also include your items in Wish List to save the item for later purchase.
Invite Friends to join Belly Monk
It would be awesome if you invite your friends to view or buy from Belly Monk. We are a start up and anything that would help us expand means big to us.
Payments
Is it safe to use my credit card?
Belly Monk accepts credit card payments through a secure online server. We use STRIPE. We do not save any credit card information in our system once the payment is made.
What if I purchased an item with a discount or promotional offer?
If you used a discount when purchasing an item, you will be refunded for the actual amount paid at the time of purchase. If you used promotional credits to purchase the item, the promotional credits will be reinstated to your Belly Monk account as a Belly Monk credit.
Online Orders
I just placed an order online? How long before I receive it?
Well, that depends. It can take from 2 to 7 business days (business days do not include weekends or holidays) to process an order and then orders are shipped via USPS.
How can I track my order?
You will receive a confirmation email with a shipment tracking number after your order has shipped. Please visit your account to see the status of your order before it has shipped.
